In accordance with this order, Small Enterprises, as defined by the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006, will be subject to its provisions nine months from the date of publication, while Micro Enterprises will comply within twelve months.

Goods or articles falling under the category of Resin Treated Compressed Wood Laminates must adhere to the specified Indian Standard 3513 (Part 1):1989 (Resin Treated Compressed Wood Laminates (compregs) - For electrical purposes). These products are required to bear the Standard Mark, obtainable through a license from the Bureau under Scheme-I of Schedule-II of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.

It is important to note that this order does not apply to goods or articles manufactured domestically for export. The Bureau is designated as both the certifying and enforcing authority for the specified goods or articles, namely Resin Treated Compressed Wood Laminates.

Violation of this order is subject to penalties under the provisions of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016.
